weak trapezoids

A weak trapezoid is a figure, part of which consists of 3 sides that are part of a strong trapezoid (a strong trapezoid being a retronym for a traditional trapezoid) that includes the two bases, and whose remaining side is of arbitrary, but monotonic, shape. A great deal of mathematics consists of finding the area of a weak trapezoid (the areas of weak trapezoids traditionally being called ‘integrals’).

Someday there will be a law about the use of the grammatical second person. Specifically, advertisers will be required to just post their messages impersonally, instead of speaking as if they were on intimate terms with you.
(Such prohibitions have been implicitly in effect since forever, well-illustrated by the ‘Kid kills cowboy’ scene in the movie ‘McCabe and Mrs. Miller’.)
