the Gehenna statement

(suggested new terminology)
0 is less than or equal to x^2
(Note: An example of its use is in proving the arithmetic-mean – geometric-mean inequality: Suppose that each of x and y is a positive real number. Then 0 is less than or equal to (sqrt(x) + sqrt(y))^2. Expanding this and re-arranging gives sqrt(xy) is less than or equal to (x + y)/2.)
