OBSERVATION: nodal status of a destination / ambiguity of return path

It often happens that the destination is a node, that is, that the return path is ambiguous. For example, when emptying the trash, I need to go the the storage location to get another liner. Usually, it is a small liner that I need (for an internal trash basket), but sometimes it is a large one (for the trash that will be carried to the dumpster).
